Sherry Rogers lived in the Bay Area of California with her husband and two children for 17 years, where she graduated from college with a degree in Graphic Design/Illustration and enjoyed a very successful career as a Graphic Designer and Technical Illustrator.

 

Upon relocating to Roseville California for her husbands job, she discovered the job market in that area was quite limited for her degree. She decided to make a career change to something she always dreamed of doing: illustrating Children’s books.  Sherry has illustrated 12 picture books and one board book. The board book has sold over 80,000 copies.  

 

Almost 5 years ago, Sherry and her husband made a life changing decision to move to Chesapeake Virginia to be close to their wonderful daughter; they have never regretted  that decision.    

 

Sherry has loved art all of her life. If she was honest, she would tell you that fine art is her favorite career of all time.  There is just something addictive about the mixing of the paints, the feel and sound of the brush on the canvas, and putting a part of her soul on display for the world to see.  

 

Sherry loves to create paintings that give you a feeling of comfort and peace.  Sherry hopes you enjoy the paintings as much as she enjoys creating them.
